brown brothers cattle company is a family owned and operated Texas Longhorn cattle producer located in fertile Central Texas, 30 miles south of Waco, in the town of Rosebud. Terry and Jean Brown own and operate 3 horses RANCH which is home to brown brothers cattle company. Gary Brown and his sons Adam, and Alex, of Katy, Texas are periodic ranch hands and partners in the cattle program. The longhorn herd is primarily composed of animals genetically connected to the famous Doherty Longhorn Ranch of Ft. Scott, Kansas. Terry and Gary Brown are nephews to Frank and Brownie Doherty and proudly maintain the family tradition of raising exceptional Texas Longhorn Cattle.
Longhorn enthusiasts are encouraged to visit 3 horses RANCH and see these legendary bloodlines. The Doherty pasture contains the likes of Ranch Lady progeny, Measles Supreme progeny, Doherty 174 progeny, Delivery 1698, The Tri W 698's, PC Miss Doherty 7/9, Doherty 14, Doherty 22, and offspring of late great Doherty breeding bulls such as OverWhelmer, Phenomenon, and Rangers Ranch Hand. brown brothers cattle company is also breeding some of the great contemporary Doherty inspired bulls such as Wrangler, Long Jumper, PC Doherty's Tradition, Plainsman FD, Measles Super Rancher, Gunners Magic, Raley FJD and Bold Scout.
