At brown brothers cattle company our herd sires are critical in the building of great Texas Longhorn cows. We select our bulls not only for their impeccable physical characteristics, but equally important is their pedigrees. All brown brothers cattle company herd sires are out of some of the greatest cows in the industry.

Each breeding season we aggressively breed a minimum of eight great Longhorn bulls. Our season begins in May with the creation of our breeding pastures and our first four bulls are turned out—early in August our initial herd bulls are removed and they are replaced later in the month and breed until November. We also utilize ai work on a few select cows each year in an effort to build the greatest pedigrees in the business. We maintain semen from some of the best of the industry including the following bulls: Rangers Ranch Hand, OverWhelmer, Phenomenon, Measles Super Ranger, Dixie Hunter, Long Jumper, Classic, VJ Tommie, Impacts Rear Admiral, and Gunner.

	IMPRESSIVE FRANKIE sire: IMPRESSIVE dam: LORNA			IMPRESSIVE FRANKIE is a young bull that we are very excited about. He is a 2002 calf of the Measlesąs Super Ranger and Doherty 698 mating that created the beautiful twisty horned full sister to Measleąs Supreme- Lorna. Frankieąs early calves are showing alot of color and speckled coats. He is a great pedigree builder.
	SIOUX BOSS 3hR sire: WHELMING KING dam: RANCH LADY			SIOUX BOSS 3hR is a product of embryo transfer. A full son of Ranch Lady he is very correct and is another one of our very promissing young herd sires. Another great pedigree builder.
	LONG JUMPER sire: BAIL JUMPER dam: MISS WIDESPREAD 174/62			LONG JUMPER is a bull we are breeding on a lease agreement with Panther Creek Ranch of Texas. Joe and Lorinda Valentine have generously allowed us to breed this Frank Doherty inspired bull into our program. A full son of Bail Jumper while his dam is a beautiful brindle daughter of Doherty 174. Long Jumper produces thick cows with color, horn and excellent milking capacity.
	MAVERICK BB sire: NOT GUNNA dam: GENEVA			MAVERICK BB is a very thick over 60˛ horned son of our beautiful Geneva cow. He shows an inclination to throw brindle cows with twist. He has the disposition of a good dog and was born and raised at 3 horses RANCH.
	PLAINSMAN FD sire: VJ TOMMIE dam: RANCH LADY			PLAINSMAN FD is another son of Ranch Lady. He is very thick and his young cows are showing unbelievable horn development. His young offspring were major selling lots at several important sales during the Ś04 season. Plainsman was born at our ranch and we share ownership of the bull with Dale Hunt of Oklahoma.
	PC DOHERTY'S TRADITION sire: TUFF TRADITION dam: DELTA DOE			PC DOHERTY'S TRADITION is a very thick son of the late Panther Creek bull- Tuff Tradition. His sire was a major contributor to the PC show string. We fondly refer to him as ŚDoe Boyą. His dam is the great Johnnie Hoffman cow Delta Doe- daughter to Miss Widespread 174/62.
	OKIE sire: dam:			OKIE is a bull that we share ownership with Panther Creek Ranch. He is throwing females with great lateral horn length, body and alot of leg. He combines Johnnie Hoffman breeding along with Doherty inspired Tri W genetics. Okie gives us offspring that carry the complete package of conformation and great dispositon.
